Mantras are a transformative tool.
A common practice of many religions is to chant mantras repeatedly. Sanskrit is the language used to describe mantras. It is a Sanskrit sound word that refers to sound tools. OM stands for universal mantra. Mantra-chanting can also be found in Hebrew and Egyptian systems.

Reiki acts best when the ego goes away and Reiki is allowed full access to its work.
Reiki is from a higher plane of consciousness. It will not work the same way if you don't let go of your ego. It will work best when it is pure, clear, and clean energy. You shouldn't ever put your personal intentions into it. The Reiki will not work as well if you include your own intentions. Also, Reiki can create a bridge between your personal energy with the person's issues. Therefore, healing cannot occur without personal problems or energy. The only way to get the energy is to surrender.
