Interesting story of how baby Krishna killed Demon Shakatasur

⁣All of us know that Hinduism celebrates the birth anniversary (or anniversary) of Krishna every year. Krishna, the eighth and final son of Vasudeva and Devaki, was baptized to the Ashtami Bhadrapad Krishnaspaksha. Janmashtami is Krishna Janmashtva.

This year, Krishna Janmashtami (the 24th of August) is celebrated. Kansa sent Shakatasun an evil demon to kill Krishna. Yasoda took a bath and went to see Krishna. He was extremely happy to see Lord Krishna asleep and began to display his power. He ran to Krishna and hurled his demon into the air. Shaktasur was killed and he received salvation.
