Interesting story of how baby Krishna killed Demon Shakatasur
All of us know that Hinduism celebrates the birth anniversary (or anniversary) of Krishna every year. Krishna, the eighth and final son of Vasudeva and Devaki, was baptized to the Ashtami Bhadrapad Krishnaspaksha. Janmashtami is Krishna Janmashtva.
This year, Krishna Janmashtami (the 24th of August) is celebrated. Janmashtami day is known for its adornment of temples with the adornment, or Lord Krishna's adornment, and decorations with chandeliments. Lord Krishna's hair is swung on the swing. This is very auspicious. Men and women observe Janmashtami fast on this day and celebrate Krishna’s birth at 12 o’clock at night.
When Lord Krishna was just three months old, Yasoda, Yasoda's mother, went to take her to a room in the backyard and allow him to bathe by the Yamuna. When she returned, the mattress was broken and Lord Krishna had not been taken from her bed. She discovered that Lord Krishna was asleep on the bed as she entered the house. Kansa sent Shakatasun an evil demon to kill Krishna. Yasoda took a bath and went to see Krishna. He was extremely happy to see Lord Krishna asleep and began to display his power. He ran to Krishna and hurled his demon into the air. Shaktasur was killed and he received salvation.
