Om Namaha Shivay

⁣Om Namah Shivaya, one of the most recognizable Hindu mantras, is also the most important mantra within Shaivism.Namah Shivaya is "O salutations for the auspicious one!"Or "adoration of Lord Shiva".Siva Panchakshara (or Shiva Panchakshara) is the name of this Mantra. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and includes the five-syllable mantra (excluding the Om).This Mantra is represented as 'Na, 'Ma, 'Si’ 'Va’ and 'Ya’ in the Shri Rudram. It is part of both the Krishna Yajurveda as well the Rudrashtadhyayi.
