People often hold on to their family traditions. However, 89% of Americans trust that the Universal spirit is present. It plays a significant role in determining social behavior.
Morality
You can find such moral guidance in many religious traditions. It is a sacred topic. Many people believe that books are God’s word. Hinduism contains a series of books, written by saints, that provide guidance on how to behave in society. Studies show believers are happier to be believed than nonbelievers.
People who believe are happier than those who do not. Around 7 to 10 percent believe that people are sent to hell after death. People who receive a reward in the afterlife are granted the chance to visit heaven-where God resides. Hinduism as well as Islam and Buddhism have similar concepts of heaven and hell.
What are some of the benefits of following one religion?
Although cultures and traditions differ, many religious texts convey the same message about peace. Religion makes people follow social norms. Research has shown that those who don't believe in God won't be able to attend or spend money on social activities.
People who practice the peaceful path of faith will not hurt other people.
